Amber Guffey Named Pepsi/MSU Athlete Of The Week

Junior guard Amber Guffey of the Murray State women's basketball team was named the Pepsi/MSU Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 11.

Guffey scored 25 points on 10-for-20 shooting from the floor, hitting three of her six three-point attempts at Missouri on Friday. She made both of her free-throw attempts and pulled down four rebounds for the Racers. She also had two assists and two steals in MSU's73-64 loss.

Murray State plays its home-opener on Tuesday against Bethel (Tenn.). Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. in the Regional Special Events Center.
