Amber Guffey Named Pepsi Athlete of the Week

MSU's Amber Guffey of the women's basketball squad was named the Pepsi-MSU Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 26-Dec. 2.

Guffey was named to the all-tournament team when the Racers played at the Panera Bread Tournament in Chattanooga. In two games, she averaging 18.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game in the tourney and shot 11-for-24 (45.8 percent) from the field and 6-for-14 (42.9 percent) from three-point range, going 8-for-9 (88.9 percent) from the line.
