Ashley Hayes Earns Pepsi-MSU Athlete of the Week honors

Ashley Hayes is the Pepsi-Murray State Athlete of the Week after becoming the 16^th Racer women's player to surpass the 1,000 point mark.

Hayes zoomed past the 1,000 point mark with a career-high tying 27 points against Tennessee Tech.

She also scored 19 points two days later against Southeast Missouri State.

In the two games, Hayes averaged 23 points and was 20-39 (.512) from the field and 6-13 (.461) from three point range.
