Murray State senior Kevin Thomas is the MSU-Pepsi Athlete of the Week for the period of Dec. 8-14.

Thomas received special notice as the Pepsi award winner after he tied the MSU record of steals in a single game with eight against the Missouri Tigers on Dec. 13.

Thomas now shares the Racer single-game record with Brian Stewart who set the original mark against Eastern Illinois on Feb. 7, 1983.
