Danero Thomas was named the MSU-Pepsi Athlete of the Week Wednesday after he earned all-tournament honors at the San Juan Shootout Dec. 22.

Thomas scored a team-high 13 points in the Racers' 57-41 loss to champion Wright State.

He was 5-of-13 from the field.
