Senior Kevin Witbrodt of Sunset Hills, Mo., was named this week's Murray State Pepsi Athlete of the Week.

Witbrodt was named the Ohio Valley Conference Smallbore Athlete of the Week at the OVC Rifle Championships last weekend after posting the best score in the smallbore competition, shooting a 573 out of a possible 600.

Witbrodt was named to the All-OVC Smallbore First Team as well as the All-OVC Air Rifle Second Team.

Murray State will take part in the NCAA qualifier on Saturday in Jacksonville, Ala.
