Dial Named Pepsi-MSU Athlete of the Week

Senior Shameka Dial has been named Pepsi-MSU Athlete of the Week for Feb. 9-16 for her perfofmance at the DePauw Invitational.

Dial also earned the Ohio Valley Conference Female Field Athlete of the Week honors.

Dial broke the school records for both the weight throw and shot put at the DePauw Invitational. Her mark of 60'08.75" in the weight throw places her at the top of the OVC Best List for this season and her shot put of 45'07.25" places her second on the best list for the event.
