Enthusiasm Returns With Tuesday Practice

The enthusiasm was back Tuesday afternoon as Murray State went through its 13th practice of the Spring on the turf inside Stewart Stadium. The Racers will hold a short practice tomorrow afternoon before closing out practice Thursday evening.
“That is something that we have really stressed. I thought we had two business-like days leading up to today,” said head coach Chris Hatcher. “The enthusiasm had been down, but today we were excited about practicing. We cut practice back a little bit because we are going to be practicing three days in a row, but all in all, I thought it was another good day.”
The Racers will take the field for their final practice before the Spring Game Wednesday afternoon at 3:20 p.m. The team will then participate in the All-Campus Sing at 6 p.m.
MSU will close out the Spring with the annual Blue-Gold Bowl sponsored by Woodmen of the World at 6:30 p.m. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., with the Fastest Racer on Campus competition beginning at 5 p.m., and the Punt, Pass and Kick (Ages 6-12) at 5:45 p.m.
