Soccer forward Julie Mooney was named the Murray State Pepsi Athlete of the Week for her performance over the weekend against Jacksonville State and Tennessee Tech.

In the Racers' victory over JSU, Mooney assisted on both MSU goals (a career-high) and recorded a new program record with 15 shots, including nine on goal. In Murray State's match with Tennessee Tech, Mooney recorded her first goal of the season in the loss.

Mooney and the Racers end the regular season this weekend with a pair of home matches at Cutchin Field. Eastern Kentucky comes to Murray on Friday for a 3 p.m. match. Morehead State comes on Sunday for Senior Day for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
