Powell Named Pepsi Athlete of the Week

Murray State junior wide receiver Walter Powell has be named this week's Murray State Pepsi Athlete of the Week for his performance on Saturday against Tennessee Tech.
Powell became the first Racer sine 2010 to return a punt for a touchdown and was named the College Football Performance Awards National Punt Returner of the Week. In addition to his punt return, Powell also had a big day receiving in the Racers' 70-35 victory. Powell had 10 grabs for 162 yards and a score in the victory.
Next up, Powell and MSU will travel to rival Austin Peay on Saturday for a 6 p.m. kickoff with the Governors.
