Racer women's basketball freshman Erika Sisk has been named the Murray State Pepsi Athlete of the Week for her performance over the last two contests for the Racers.

Sisk helped lead the Racers to their third- and fourth-straight wins last week, averaging 17.0 points per game. Sisk put up 22 points in a win at Jacksonville State on Saturday and then followed it up with 12 points at Tennessee Tech on Monday.

The freshman finished the week shooting 44.8 percent from the floor and added 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2.5 assists per game. Sisk was also named the OVC Freshman of the Week for her efforts this past week. It was the fourth consecutive and seventh overall, player of the week honor for Sisk this season.

On Saturday, Sisk and the rest of the Racers (13-7, 6-3) will attempt to win their fifth game in row, when they host Austin Peay at 2:15 p.m.
