Wilson Named Pepsi Athlete of the Week

Murray State senior men's basketball player Stacy Wilson has been named the Murray State Pepsi Athlete of the Week for his performance at last weekend's OVC Tournament in Nashville.
Wilson averaged 20 points per game on 15-for-22 (68 percent) shooting from the floor, including going 7-of-10 from beyond the arc during the two games. Wilson also averaged five rebounds, 2.5 assists and one steal a game in the tournament and, along with teammate Isaiah Canaan, was named to the All-Tournament team.
Wilson scored 17 points, five rebounds and three assists in the Racers' 81-73 victory over Eastern Kentucky in the semifinals. In the championship game against Belmont, Wilson tied a career-high with 23 points and went 9-for-12 shooting (5-for-7 on 3's).
