Bridges Named Murray State Pepsi Athlete of the Week

Murray State infielder Leslie Bridges has been named the Murray State Pepsi Athlete of the Week for her performance last week for the Racer softball team.
Bridges led the Racers with a .385 average (5-for-13) in the five games. Bridges also led MSU with four RBI during the week and tied for the team lead with two doubles and a home run.
Bridges recorded a .769 slugging percentage and an on-base percentage of .429 last week and also went perfect in the field, not recording an error.
Bridges and the Racers return home this weekend for a pair of OVC opponents. Eastern Kentucky comes to town on Saturday for a doubleheader beginning at noon. Morehead State comes to Murray on Sunday for two games.
