Murray State Athletics Director Allen Ward announced a contract extension with WFGE Froggy 103.7 FM for the station to continue as the flagship for Racer Football and Basketball through the 2019-2020 season.
Â
With the continuation of the contract, Froggy radio and parent company Forever Communications continue a strong relationship with Murray State Athletics.
Â
"Our partnership with WFGE & Forever Communications is very important to our continued success," Ward said. "I'm pleased to know Froggy's powerful signal will continue to give our fans the enjoyment of listening to our games all throughout this region. I appreciate the commitment Scott Swalls and Forever Communications have shown to our program over the years."
Â
"The relationship between Murray State and our radio station is the reason I moved to Murray," Said Scott Swalls, WFGE General Manager. "That's how strongly I feel about it. You can't quantify in dollars what this partnership means to both parties. I'm pleased that Froggy will be carrying Racer sports. This is definitely a feather in our cap."
Â
Racer fans will also continue listening to Neal Bradley. The "Voice of the Racers" will be in his 25th season this fall.
Â
"I am thankful to Forever Communications and Murray State Athletics for their decision to continue what has been a tremendous relationship," Bradley said. "It's a privilege for me to live the dream of calling Racer sports."
Â
Froggy 103.7 FM is a 100,000 watt station that reaches parts of four states and covers 58 counties in western Kentucky, northwest Tennessee, southern Illinois and southeast Missouri.
