Jack was a member of the Murray State Football team in 1946 and 1947. He is considered to be one of the greatest linemen to ever play at Murray State. After the ’47 season, he was selected Middle All-American. Jack graduated in 1948 and then attended graduate school at Ole Miss before becoming the head coach at Dyersburg High School in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
All KIAC second team in 1946. MSU’s captain in 1947. Team was 11-8 for Jim Moore in Wyatt’s two years.
