EKU Game Time Changed To 1:30 p.m.

Murray State's home football game against Ohio Valley Conference rival Eastern Kentucky on Saturday, Nov. 1 has been moved from the listed kickoff time of 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Originally set for 11 a.m. to accommodate a live telecast by Fox Sports Net South, the game time has been pushed back due to a change in the television schedule.
"When the schedule was first released, we listed the game at 11 a.m. because that's when Fox wanted to televise it," said MSU director of athletics E.W. Dennison. "Since it's not on television, we decided to move the game to our normal afternoon start time of 1:30 p.m."
Said OVC commissioner Dr. Jon A. Steinbrecher: "This game was added to our television schedule late in the process as an additional exposure opportunity for our package. However, since that time, Fox Sports Net was faced with other scheduling obligations that they must honor. While disappointed to lose this exposure opportunity, Fox Sports Net is a very valuable TV partner, and we look forward to our continued relationship with them."
