Schaller, a native of St. Louis, Mo., closed out her successful four-year career with the Racers on Sunday in MSU's 2-1 win over Morehead State.
A member of the program's first freshman class in 2000, Schaller was named All-OVC Third Team as a junior, All-OVC Second Team as a sophomore and All-OVC Honorable Mention as a freshman.
"Emily has been a very, very important part of this soccer program since our first varsity season in 2000," said fourth-year MSU head coach Mike Minielli. "She has been such a hard-worker and a great leader for our young players. She is very deserving of being named All-OVC, and we will dearly miss her effort and heart next season."
Schaller closed out her career after playing in 75 games over four years and started in 74 of those games. She scored 13 goals, added 14 assists and was one of the team leaders on and off the field throughout her four seasons.
"She has been dependable and constant performer on our team over the last four years," said Minielli. "Through all of the good times and bad times, she has been there leading this team. There is no doubt that she's left a very positive and lasting impact on this soccer program."
