Racers Say 'Thank You' With Parents Night Out

Coming off an Ohio Valley Conference football championship, the Murray State football program will show its appreciation to the Racer fans by entertaining their children for five hours on Friday night.
Parents Night Out, sponsored by the Racer football coaching staff, will be offered to all members of the community on Friday, May 16 from 6-11 p.m. at Roy Stewart Stadium. Youngsters will have the opportunity to watch movies, play games, participate in football and cheerleading drills and much more.
"The people of this community were so supportive of us last season in our run for the championship that we wanted to come up with a way to show our appreciation," said Pannunzio. "So we decided that we'd help the parents out by entertaining their kids for a few hours."
In addition to activities, food will be provided, as well as male and female adult supervision. Cost of the service is $20 for one child, $30 for two children and $40 for three children.
Registration for Parents Night Out will take place on the third level of Stewart Stadium and parents may begin dropping off their children at 5:30 p.m. For more information, contact the MSU football office at 762-6181.
