MSU TV 11 To Televise Lady Racer Home Games On Tape-Delayed Basis

The Murray State women's basketball program and MSU TV 11 will be partnering for the remainder of the 2003-04 season to televise the Lady Racers' home games on a tape-delayed basis.
The game telecast will be shown the day after the game is played at 10 p.m., with the exception of all Saturday games, which will be shown on the following Monday at 10 p.m.
The first telecast is scheduled for tonight (Jan. 16) at 10 p.m. and will feature the Lady Racers' 71-61 Ohio Valley Conference win over Samford yesterday at the Regional Special Events Center.
"This is a wonderful way to promote our women's basketball program," said first-year MSU head coach Joi Williams. "This will help us reach out to the students and the community, and hopefully encourage them to come see the Lady Racers in person."
The telecasts will use the audio from the MSU Sports Network radio broadcast, with play-by-play duties being handled by Nathan Higdon.
The partnership is the latest between MSU TV 11 and Racer athletics as the campus television station is in the process of televising all of the Racer basketball team's home games in 2003-04 on a tape-delayed basis and did the same for the Racer football team in 2003.
