On the Racers' bye week in the schedule last week:
"It's kinda nice to get a little break in the action. We had a lot of guys injured, and we still have a bunch of guys banged up and bruised up as everybody does this time of year."
"Last week, we worked out on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We gave the kids Friday and Saturday off, which rejuvenated everybody a little bit. I think it rejuvenated our coaching staff a little bit, too. We came back and worked yesterday and then, we'll work tonight, which will be the first time we've worked on a Monday night in a long time. We'll work tomorrow and Wednesday, and we'll go down and play at Martin on Thursday."
On this week's game with Tennessee-Martin:
"This is a big game for us. It's a game we've got to come out playing. I'm sure after playing Eastern Kentucky the way they did, they're playing with some confidence right now. They're on a little bit of a roll. We'll have to come out and play hard.... and play to win."
