Yates signs with Lady Racers

Murray State women's golf coach Velvet Milkman announced the signing of Bethany Yates of Bethlehem High School in Bardstown, Ky.
Yates was the 2004 3rd Region runner-up with a score of 76. She has also taken part in the Kentucky High School State Championship five times.
"I am excited that Bethany has chosen Murray State," Milkman said. "She is a good player who has the athletic ability to keep getting better.
"In addition, she is a good student. Bethany is the type of student-athlete who will help continue the winning tradition of our program both on the golf course and in the classroom."
Murray State is the three-time defending Ohio Valley Conference champion and has won six of the last eight league titles.
