'Breds to host annual camps

The Murray State baseball team is once again holding its annual baseball camps, beginning on Dec. 28 for grades 1-8, and Dec. 30 for high school students.
Session 1 for grades 1-8 is on Dec. 28-29. This fundamentals camp is from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. both days, and will include fun games and competitions. Thoroughbreds head coach Rob McDonald and his assistant coaches Paul Wyczawski and Justus Scott will teach the instruction and practice of proper fundamentals of hitting, fielding, throwing and base-running. The coaches will also put an emphasis on individual improvement and preparation for the upcoming season.
Session 2 for high school pre-season exposure is on Dec. 30, and will last from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The 'Breds baseball staff will provide advanced instruction and fine-tuning on proper individual skills, and will also provide individual and small group instruction.
The price for each of these camps is $60, and each prospective camper should be pre-registered. All campers will receive a free T-shirt.
