Free Admission Included With This Weekend's 'Breds Baseball Promotions

With the Murray State Thoroughbreds needing a three-game sweep against Samford in this weekend's pivotal Ohio Valley Conference series at Reagan Field, all fans will receive free admission to entire series as a part of MSU's "Regular-Season Finale" promotion.
The series will open with a double-header on Friday at 1 p.m. and will conclude with a single game on Saturday at 1 p.m. With a sweep of the Bulldogs this weekend, the 'Breds will advance to next week's OVC Tournament at Brooks Stadium in Paducah, Ky.
"Obviously, this is a very important weekend for our team and our program," said first-year MSU head coach Rob McDonald. "We've had great fan support all season, but this weekend we'd love to see even more fans making noise at Reagan Field and supporting the 'Breds."
Other events planned for the weekend series include free T-shirts for several fans and two trivia contests where fans can win gift bags full of fun prizes.
"I think it'll be an exciting weekend of baseball for our fans," said McDonald. "We hope to see a lot of blue and gold out there on Friday and Saturday."
Prior this weekend's regular-season ending series with Samford, the 'Breds will take on Kentucky tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. CT in Lexington.
