'Breds announce baseball camps

The Murray State Thoroughbreds announced three baseball camps to be held at Reagan Field this summer. Each camper will receive a free T-shirt.

A day camp will be held June 7-10 for players in grades 1 through 8. It will be held daily from 8 a.m. to noon, and will include instruction and the practice of proper fundamentals of hitting, fielding, throwing and base-running.

An overnight camp will be held June 14-17 for players in grades 4 through 12. The camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, with evening activities and games planned. Campers will be house in a Murray State residence hall, and a lunch is included.

A pitcher/catcher camp will be held on June 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This camp will feature instruction on the proper mechanics and drills for pitchers and catchers.
