Eight of Murray State's 11 regular-season football games will be broadcast this season locally on MSU TV-11, including seven Ohio Valley Conference contests.
The campus TV station will air all five of the Racers' home games on a tape-delayed basis at 10 p.m. the night of the games, with play-by-play and color commentary provided by "The Voice of the Racers," Neal Bradley, and Nathan Higdon.
MSU TV-11 also plans to air Murray State's road games at Jacksonville State, Eastern Illinois and the final regular-season game at Tennessee State.
The Racers' games at Jacksonville State (Oct. 2) will be aired on Monday, Oct. 4, at 10 p.m., while the game at Eastern Illinois (Oct. 16) will be aired on Monday, Oct. 18, at 10 p.m. The TSU season finale can be seen on Saturday, Nov. 20, at 10 p.m.
"This is great for our program," said MSU head coach Joe Pannunzio. "It's exciting for our kids and for Racer fans to be able to watch us play. Plus, it's a great tool to recruit with whenever you get on TV."
"We are excited about any time we can get on TV," said MSU director of athletics E.W. Dennison. "It gives this university the exposure it deserves, and we are excited to be the catalyst to make it happen."
