Homecoming Weekend events announced by Murray State

Racer Athletics will offer fans an exciting weekend at Homecoming 2004. Murray State alumni and Racer enthusiasts will have the opportunity to participate in a wide array of events sponsored by the athletics department.
The weekend will kick off with the annual MSU Homecoming Golf Tournament on Friday, Oct. 8, at Frances E. Miller Golf Course. The entry fee covers cart and greens fees, and participants will receive lunch and a Racer fleece blanket.
Saturday, Oct. 9, will start early with the 15th Annual Racer Athletics Breakfast sponsored by the “M” Club. The breakfast is open to former athletes, coaches and all Racer fans. The event will be held in the large ballroom of the Curris Center at 8 a.m.
Racer soccer fans can cheer on Murray State as they face Tennessee-Martin at noon on Saturday at Cutchin Field. Fans can also support the Murray State rowing team in Aurora, Ky. for its Alumni Sprints competition.
“We have a lot of great annual Homecoming traditions in the athletic department," said interim director of athletics Kenny Roth. "We are excited about the weekend, and are expecting a number of fans to come out and show their support for the Racers."
