Senior forward Theresa Reedy was named Ohio Valley Conference Offensive Soccer Player of the Year for the second time in as many weeks, according to a release issued by the conference office this afternoon.
Reedy, a 5-8 forward from St. Ann, Mo., scored all three of the Racers' goals this week, including both scores in MSU's 2-1 win at Morehead State on Sunday in both teams' OVC opener.
Reedy has scored 10 goals this season, second on the Racers' single-season goals list to Jackie Thomas's 13 scored in 2000. Her 31 career goals is a Murray State record.
The Racers (4-6-0, 1-0-0 OVC) hosts Samford on Friday at 4 p.m. and Murray State's Cutchin Field.
