OVC Championship final to be televised by ESPN-U

The Ohio Valley Conference has announced that the championship match in the O'Reilly OVC Volleyball Championship Tournament will be televised on ESPN-U on Nov. 20 at Charleston, Ill.

Eastern Illinois was named the host team of the tournament by the conference to help ESPN-U make its preparations. EIU and Tennessee State are currently tied atop the OVC volleyball standings at 9-1.

The quarterfinal round of the tournament -- to be played by the third through the sixth seeds -- will be played on Nov. 18, while the semifinal round -- to include the top two seeds and the quarterfinal winners -- will be played on Nov. 19.
