Racer Soccer To Make 2nd Straight Appearance In OVC Tournament

The match will be broadcasted live on WRKY 1130AM, with pre-game coverage beginning 10 minutes prior to game time, and will be shown on MSU TV-11 at 10:00 p.m. Murray State is the tournament's fourth seed, the Lady Govs are the fifth seed.
The Racers are 6-9-2 on the season with two regular season games remaining. Murray State finished its conference slate with a 5-3-2 mark, its second straight winning record in league play. The five wins are the most OVC victories in the six year history of the program.
Austin Peay is 9-8-0 with one regular season match remaining. The Lady Govs went 6-4-0 in the OVC.
The winner advances to a semifinal match-up with OVC regular season champion Samford. The semifinals and finals will be played in Charleston, Ill., and hosted by Eastern Illinois University. The championship match will air live on ESPNU at 12:00 p.m., on Nov. 6.
The Racers will close out their regular season schedule with two non-conference matches this weekend. On Friday Murray State will face Arkansas State at 3:00 p.m., at Cutchin Field. On Sunday, the Racers host South Dakota State at 11:00 a.m.
