Marchman and Turner Named All-OVC Rumley invited to Vegas all-star event

Turner, a senior from Atlanta, Ga. was named second team All-OVC as a specialist. He electrified fans for two seasons at MSU because every time he fielded a punt or a kick off he was a threat to go all the way for a touchdown, and he did four times.
During the 2005 season, Turner had a kick return average with 24.6 per try. He returned 45 kick offs for 658 yards. He returned one 91 yards for a touchdown against Indiana State Sep. 17.
Turner returned 14 punts for an average of 10.5 per try. He returned a punt 65 yards for a touchdown Oct. 22 against Eastern Illinois.
Maurice Marchman is a sophomore from Louisville, Ky and was named to the OVC's Newcomer Team.
Marchman played this season for the Racers after transferring from Kentucky.
He caught 28 passes in 2005, six of which went for touchdowns. His 504 yards of receiving ranked him ninth in the OVC with 50.4 yards per game.
In the last home game of the season against Austin Peay, Marchman caught touchdown passes of 51 and 59 yards.
Rumley, a senior from Birmingham, Ala ended his Racer career with 77 catches good for 954 yards and eight touchdowns over a two season period.
Today he was invited to play Jan. 14 in the Las Vegas All-America Classic at Samboyd Stadium. The event will featrure100 seniors from all over the country.
