'Breds to play Missouri Monday at Reagan Field

(Feb. 23, 2005) -- The Murray State Thoroughbreds announced the addition of Missouri to its 2005 schedule. The teams will meet at MSU's Reagan Field on Monday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m.

With Murray State's cancelation of its game against Bradley last Sunday and Missouri's wash of the Oakland Athletics Tournament in Phoenix, Ariz., on Feb. 11-13, both teams were anxious to add another pre-conference game to their schedules.

Missouri (4-1) will play in the Service Academy Spring Classic in Millington, Tenn., this weekend before coming to Murray. The 'Breds (2-1) will host Bowling Green State in a three-game weekend series before hosting the Tigers.
