MSU teams finish seventh at OVC Indoor Championships

The Murray State men's indoor track team placed seventh, while the women's team tied for seventh at the O'Reilly Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships, held Feb. 25-26 at Charleston, Ill.
The women's team tied for seventh with 23 points, while the men's team placed seventh with three points.
Results for the women's team included:
Jamie Nurnberger, second, 20-pound weight throw, 54-1 (16.48 meters); seventh, shot put, 37-6.75 (11.45 meters)
Dominique Robinson, fourth, shot put, 41-4.5 (12.6 meters); eighth, 20-pound weight throw, 41-9.25 (12.73 meters)
Lauren Wilson, fifth, mile run, 5:13.44
Rebecca Schweiker, sixth, 20-pound weight throw, 44-5.25 (13.54 meters); 10th, shot put, 36-1.5 (11.01 meters)
Lindsey Neeley, 10th, 5,000-meter run, 20:09.61; 16th, 3,000-meter run, 11:17.26

Eastern Illinois won the men's meet with a score of 189 points, while Southeast Missouri State won the women's title with 155 points.
