Lady Racers hold lead at EKU

The Murray State women's golf team holds its lead after the second of three rounds of the Lady Colonel Classic, held at the par-72, 6,193-yard Arlington Golf Course in Richmond, Ky. The final round will be played tomorrow (Saturday).
The Lady Racers shot a 320, the best round of the five varsity teams competing. MSU is in first with a score of 625, followed by host Eastern Kentucky at 631, Tennessee Tech at 642, Western Kentucky at 681 and Austin Peay at 704. Murray State increased its lead from yesterday by two strokes today.
Nikki Orazine is in fifth place in the 47-golfer tournament with a two-round score of 152, having fired a 75 this afternoon. Santie Koch is in sixth place at 153, while April Steenbergen is in ninth at 157. Camilla Loeveid is tied for 16th at 164, while Ilka Loubser is tied for 28th at 168. Christi Baron, golfing as an individual, is tied for 22nd at 166, while Lauren Hughes, also golfing as an individual, is in 34th with a 172.
