Racers sign 10 for 2005 season

Those who signed for this season include:
REBEKAH CLAY
A 5-6 forward from Bloomington, Ill., Clay played for the Little Illini club and is a graduate of University High School. "Rebekah is very quick and good with the ball," said MSU head coach Mike Minielli. "She has good vision and will be a huge addition to our attack."
MELISA CURRY
A 5-5 forward from Paducah, Ky., Curry played for the West Kentucky Football Club and is a graduate of Lone Oak High School. "Melisa is the left-footed player we needed," Minielli said. "She has good skill and vision and has a knack for making things happen up front."
JANE DEWITT
A 5-5 midfielder from Plymouth, Mich., Dewitt played for the Michigan Nationals club and is a graduate of Salem High School. "Jane will play an attacking midfielder/center," said Minielli. "She has good vision and touch."
LAUREN FALLS
A 5-6 midfielder from Newburgh, Ind., Falls played for the Evansville Blitz club and is a graduate of Castle High School. "She will play a center/midfielder role," said Minielli. "She has a good touch and is creative with the ball."
ANNA FULKERSON
A 5-5 midfielder/forward from Evansville, Ind., Fulkerson played for the Evansville Elite club and is a graduate of Harrison High School. "Anna is a versatile player with good skills," said Minielli. "She has a powerful shot that will help our attack."
KAYLA JONES
A 5-4 forward from Wingo, Ky., Jones played for the West Kentucky Football Club and is a graduate of Graves County High School. She is the first player from GCHS to earn a soccer scholarship to Murray State. "Kayla has great speed and quickness," Minielli said.
KRISTA LLEWELLYN
A 5-5 midfielder/forward from Island Lake, Ill., Llewellyn played for the Copa Football Club and is a graduate of Waconda High School.
MAUREN McREYNOLDS
A 5-4 midfielder from Indianapolis, Ind., McReynolds played for the Carmel Heat Club and is a graduate of Bishop Chatard High School. "Mauren will play the wing or midfielder and possesses tremendous speed," Minielli said. "She will play an attacking role. She is very good with the ball and very creative." McReynolds' father is also a soccer coach.
JENNIFER MILLWARD
A 5-7 forward from St. Louis, Mo., Millward played for the JB Marine club and is a graduate of Oakville High School. "Jennifer will give us speed and energy up front," said Minielli. "She has big-time club experience and should transition to the college game well."
COURTNEY VOELZ
A forward from West Chicago, Ill., Voelz played for the Fox Valley Strikers club and is a graduate of the West Chicago Community High School. "Courtney has very quick feet and good vision," said Minielli.
