Stormy weather cuts practice short

The Murray State Racer football team worked out for about 30 minutes today before thunderstorms and the threat of lightning heading south forced the team to cancel practice.

The Racers had just completed working on punts and punt coverage when lightning first struck around 3:30. The team then headed for cover, and after 30 more minutes of waiting, practice was called off.
