Racers compete at Memphis Twilight

The Murray State men's cross country team competed Saturday in the Memphis Twilight Invitational, hosted by the University of Memphis.
The Racers placed 14th in the 15-team competition, just seven points behind 12th place.
Junior John Gorey led the way for Murray State, finishing 54th in the 156-runner race with a time of 21 minutes, 34.61 seconds over the 4-mile course.
Freshman Tommy Moore was 91st with a time of 22:36.87, while freshman Frankie Ramos was 93rd at 22:44.42. Junior Anthony Collotti-Brown was 102nd at 23:10.52, while freshman Melvin Finley was 107th with a time of 23:26.51.
Senior Nathan Clinkenbeard also ran for Murray State, finishing in 121st with a time of 24:15.73.
Murray State will next compete in the Vanderbilt Invitational this Saturday in Nashville, Tenn.
