Former Racer Rumley shines in Vegas All-Star Classic

Former Murray State receiver Dan Rumley enjoyed a successful appearance in the recent Las Vegas All-American Classic Saturday at Samboyd Stadium. Rumley played on the winning team, as the East team defeated the West team 41-3.
Rumley's only catch of the game was a touchdown on a five-yard pass from quarterback Tyler Emmert from NAIA Carroll College.
The scoring play gave the East team a 14-3 lead in the second quarter.
Rumley, a senior from Birmingham, Ala. ended his Racer career last fall.
He had 77 catches good for 954 yards and eight touchdowns over a two-season period in the 2004 and 2005 seasons.
The Las Vegas event featured 100 seniors from all over the country.
