MSU Baseball Plans Fall Navy/Gold Series

Murray State Baseball ends its fall workout period with the weekend Navy/Gold series beginning Friday at Reagan Field.
MSU Head Coach Rob McDonald said the competition in these scrimmages games is important to the team.
“This series is the culmination of our fall workouts,” McDonald said. “It's an exciting time for our players and important because it's the last opportunity to evaluate our players in a game setting before we begin winter workouts.”
The MSU team will be split into two squads determined by assistant coaches Paul Wyczawski and Brian Hicks. The two will also coach the teams.
The split-squad format calls for a best two-of-three series.
