Annie Fortier played the entire 180 minutes of regulation time and two 10-minute overtime periods and did not allow a goal and made three saves. The MSU defense was air tight all day long and limited the Colonels to only nine shots on goal.
The Racer offense kept creating scoring opportunities but could not find the net. MSU had 21 shots on the day with 10 on goal. Rebekah Clay took four shots in the match and put three on goal and it was the same for Melisa Curry. The Racers had the benefit of creating seven corner kicks in the game but couldn't turn them into a goal.
The Racers return home Friday to host
The tie keeps MSU in a tie for 5th place in the Ohio Valley Conference with
