Matt Fraliex Signs With Murray State Basketball

Murray State Men's Basketball Head Coach Billy Kennedy announced the signing of 6-4 guard Matt Fraliex of
Fraliex is one of the most prolific high school players in
“Matt comes from a good basketball family,” Kennedy said. “He's a big guard who can really shoot the ball and has a good feel for the game.”
Fraliex was named Kentucky All-State Honorable Mention last season and was fourth in the state making 87 percent of his free throws. He was also selected to the Kentucky New Era team and was
Fraliex hit 46 percent and also hit 55 percent from the field overall last season. He was named All-Academic District-7 Team.
Kennedy added Fraliex has a tremendous up side at MSU.
“Matt has great character and work ethic,” Kennedy said. “Those qualities will help him become a great player in the Ohio Valley Conference.”

“He shoots it better than any one I've seen, I expect it to go in most of the time,” Fraliex said. “He worked hard in the weight room over the summer and he's gotten a lot stronger.”
“The other thing is Matt is a great student, he's the ultimate team player, that's hard to find.”
