MSU Student-Athletes Complete Project For Local Children

The Murray State University Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) has collected balls and markers to contribute to both the Murray and the Calloway County Family Resource Centers to help needy kids in the area through the Santa Project. Student-athletes were encouraged to purchase a ball and/or a package of washable markers to help out.

MSU's student-athletes collected 76 balls and 51 packages of washable markers.

“I believe that the student-athletes really enjoyed working on this project because it was something that was very important to them personally,” said SAAC advisor Rosanne Radke. “Every child likes to play with a ball and all school children need a new package of markers to begin the new year with. This is something that we could easily contribute to each year and make it an annual project."
