Murray State Rowing Finishes Second In Three Races

In the novice four race, MSU (6:31.82) finished second behind GVSU-A and in front of GVSU-B. The Racers finished 6.22 seconds out of first and 34.94 seconds in front of the third place boat.
Murray State's crew in the novice four race was Kelly Anderson at the bow, Christa Bugg in the two-seat, Andria Kroner in the three-seat, Elizabeth Van Lengen at the stroke and Toni Guthrie as the coxswain.
MSU finished 15.3 seconds behind GVSU-A in the varsity four race. GVSU-B finished third, 20.49 seconds behind
In Murray State's varsity four boat, Karen Delaney was at the bow, Anna Brown in the two-seat, Rachel Hopper in the three-seat, Sarah Bullock at the stroke and Kate Cushing as the coxswain.
In the varsity eight race, the Racer squad finished in a time of 5:40.41, 18.56 behind the first place GVSU boat. GVSU-B placed third, 3.97 seconds behind MSU. GVSU-C crossed in fourth and GVSU-D finished fifth.
