MSU Women's Golf In Fourth At Saluki Invitational

After turning in a fifth and a seventh place finish in two events in
MSU's 317 put them in fourth place of the 13-team event with 36 holes left to play today. MSU is 16 shots off the pace being set by first place Bradley with a 301. MSU's fellow Ohio Valley Conference member
The Racers were paced in round one by Christi Baron with a 6-over 78 to place her tied for 9th. Ilka Loubser continued her fine play of late with a first round 79, good for a tie for 15th place. Loubser has five rounds under 80 in the last six times she's teed it up. Julie Bennett and Ashley Kelbough both shot 80 and are in a tie for 19th position. Bethany Yates had an 82 in round one and sits in a tie for 31st place. Lauren Hughes fired an 83 and is a tie for 39th. Jessica Wilson, playing as an individual, had an 86 and sits in 51st place.
The Hickory Ridge course is playing to a par 72 this week and is 6,017 yards long. There are 13 teams entered and 82 competitors.
