Murray State Student-Athlete Chosen For NCAA Leadership Conference

The 2006 NCAA Leadership Conference will run from May 28 to June 1 at Disney's Yacht Beach Club Resort in

The selection committee emphasized non-athletic leadership experience, community service and academic awards. Athletic accomplishments did not play a role in the selection process.
Each nominee also wrote an essay describing a previous leadership experience and what was learned from it.
The NCAA Leadership Conference provides NCAA student-athletes with a forum to openly discuss issues that may affect them on their campuses and in their communities, while also providing them with the opportunity to enhance their leadership, communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
