Former Racer Koch Finishes Third in Canada

Former Murray State golfer Santie Koch finished tied for third at a Canadian Women's Tour event at Settler's Ghost Golf Club in Barrie, Ontario. Koch fired rounds of 71-71=142 which was good for a third place tie with Michelle Simpson.

Saliman Mussani won the event in a playoff over Corina Kelepouris after both finished with a score of 140.

The event was the second of the inaugural season of the Canadian Women's Tour.

Koch was a mainstay of the Racer program from 2001 through 2005. During her time with MSU, Koch helped Murray State to three straight Ohio Valley Conference championships in 2002, 2003 and 2004. She was named to the all-league team as a senior in 2005.
