Two Racers Earn Conference Weekly Awards

Cook led Murray State to its first win of the season by scoring three touchdowns and rushing for a career-best 223 yards on his way to eclipsing the 2,000 yard career mark. Cook's three touchdowns gave the New Orleans, La., native 24 career scores and moved him into fourth
place on the MSU all-time touchdown list. He also moved into eighth place on the school's career rushing list with 2,015 career yards.

Cook's 223 yards is the eighth best total in program history. Against the Sycamores, Cook averaged 8.9 yards per carry and had runs of 50, 42, 22 and 18 yards.

Parrott did a little of everything to help the Racers earn their first win of the season. Parrott sealed the victory for Murray State when he forced a fumble in the fourth quarter and then picked it up and raced 25 yards to the end zone. The Mayfield, Ky., native also blocked
an extra point attempt, had two pass breakups and recorded nine tackles.
