Murray State Athletics Director Allen Ward announced an agreement has been reached with WFGE Froggy 103.7 FM for the station to continue to be the flagship for MSU Football and MSU Basketball through the 2009-2010 season with a MSU option for the 2010-2011 & 2011-2012 seasons.
The agreement with WFGE and their parent company Forever Communications means the Racer Radio Network will continue with a strong signal.
“Our partnership with WFGE & Forever Communications is very important to our continued success,” Ward said. “In addition to providing our fans throughout the region with the opportunity to follow the Racers, the impact of having a recognized and powerful station carry our games is significant. I appreciate the commitment Debbie Howard and Forever Communications have shown to our program.”
“We're very excited to extend our agreement with MSU Athletics,” said Debbie Howard, WFGE General Manager. “This is a perfect fit for us and Allen and Darron Boatright have been great to work with, they have the best interest in mind for MSU and our company, I can see many more years of this relationship with them.”
Neal Bradley, the “Voice of the Racers” is in his 14th season of broadcasting MSU games.
“There are over 300 division-one schools in the country and this is the only one I ever wanted to be involved with and I'm thrilled that this relationship will continue,” Bradley said.
