Monday's plan was to play 36 holes but rain limited play to 27 holes. The competitors came back Tuesday and played another 27 holes to finish the event in soggy conditions.
Murray State Head Coach Eddie Hunt was happy with the effort he saw out of his team.
“I was pleased with our first time out,” Hunt said. “Nick had a 30 on the back nine coming in, he's a solid player.”
“Chris played very well, I was happy to see him get out of the gate.”
“Jerry was very consistent,” Hunt added. “Jared and Mark were playing in their first event and they will improve.”
The Racers next event is Sep. 22-23 at the EKU Invitational at Arlington Golf Course in
