The highlight of the three matches was a hat trick performance for MSU's Rebekah Clay in the Racers victory over Bellarmine. Lacey Latimer also scored on a header off a Jen Peios free kick.
"I was very impressed with the goals we scored,” Acreman said. “Our team showed a very high standard of play and was exciting to watch.”
“I've seen some improvements from the fall but we still have a lot to work on,” Acreman added. "We definitely have to minimize our errors and be much more composed on the ball. We improved our play each game of the tournament, so I know with hard work this group will get stronger as the spring continues."
