MSU Golf 7th After 36-Holes In Samford Event

The Murray State Men's Golf squad fired rounds of 299 and 297 at the Samford Intercollegiate Monday at Limestone Springs GC in
Michael Craft lead the way for MSU through the first 36 holes with rounds of 70-75=145. Mitchell Moore's rounds of 78-70=148 placed him in 23rd, while Kyle Landrum was in 49th position after a pair of 78's.
Landrum had the Racers only eagle of the day and was three-under for the first two rounds on the par-five holes.
Mark Brant joined Landrum in 49th place after rounds of 82-74=156 and Jerry Price placed 58th after scores of 73-86=159.
The Samford event has a field of 76 players and they'll finish today with the final 18 holes.
Limestone Springs GC has been set up to play to a par of 72 and 6,987 yards.
